I have been the dishwasher ever since I could reach the sink so I had no idea how to care for a dishwasher after moving into a home with one. Regular cleaning with a product like this is important & this product works well. We run our dishwasher a couple times a week while hand-washing pots/pans & sharp knives/utensils. Before using this product, there was a lingering smell inside the dishwasher that made using the dishwasher very unpleasant. Post using this cleaner, I smell nothing funky & feel a whole lot better about using my clean dishes after a cycle in the dishwasher.
The price is fair because you're getting 2x's the product available at most local retailers for 2x's that price. I had to look at the prices to figure this out & ultimately decided on this product because I appreciate the quality of other products by Active (Washing Machine Cleaner & Pet Laundry Detergent,) & the fact I'm supporting a USA-based business. I also like that I can get Active products with an Amazon coupon or during a Flash Sale for an even better price. I'll definitely be trying more of their products in the future!
